020/365

This is how my Sunday went down. I went to church at South City this morning. Had really good Hawaiian BBQ for lunch. Then headed out to Mt. Hermon to visit people at WBC. That means I got to hang out with these cool kids. It was a fun afternoon.

Then I ended my Sunday by going to Vintage Faith Church in the evening. It is my favorite place to worship when I'm at home and I'm glad I had a chance to go tonight. It's just so great and if you're ever in the Santa Cruz area then you should check it out. At least go to their coffee shop called the Abbey. You won't be disappointed. I promise.

On Saturday I ran a 5k in Pacifica with my mom and my dog Ramona. I was a little intimidated at first because it was my first race and I also hadn't ran in a very long time. But it turned out to be really fun and fairly easy. I felt great!
...and now my legs are killing me.

018/365

Here's a not so funny story. Today my camera officially died. The lens will no longer open, and therefore I am no longer able to take pictures on my little (but loyal) canon powershot. It is a very sad day for me because I have had that camera for three years and I really loved it, and now I am left with old cameras that aren't nearly as good.

So until I get a new camera, this project is going to be very interesting.

But on the bright side, I bought these two dresses today. The black one was $5 and the other one was only $2. And I didn't even get them at a thrift store.

It was a self-portrait kind of night... and maybe possibly a last minute picture.

This is Taylor Christine Covert. She is my best friend. My lifetime chump. My yip. And Wednesday was our last day together before she headed off to San Diego State University to start her freshman year of college. We spent the day eating bagels, talking about life, and doing what we do best: tie-dying. I love her to death and I am so excited to see what God has in store for her this year and for the rest of her college career.
Isn't she just beautiful?

015/365

And now, after waking up at 4:15 to catch a 6:10 flight from Seattle to San Francisco, I am finally home, ready to live out the last month of my summer. It has been a long time since I was here last, and I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and spending time with this beautiful dog right here.

On Monday Stephanie, Rhoda and I decided to take a trip up to Mt. Rainier. It is easily my new favorite place on the planet and I can't wait to go back. Maybe next time I will go at night because I could only imagine what it would be like to look at the stars from up there.

We were amazed with every corner we turned

How can people not believe in God?

Seeing the meadows full of flowers was my favorite
